At the Maritime, Aviation and Border Health Office (USMAF) the medical and paramedical personnel is available to the public to give any helpful information about any epidemics in progress in the countries of destination, on the basis of the information received from the World Health Organization and instructions given by the central offices of the Ministry.

In the same place, located in the northern part of the passenger terminal, vaccinations are administered on appointment against the main infectious diseases (yellow fever, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid fever, etc.) and advice is given about any need for preventive medicine before journeys to areas at risk for malaria.

It is advisable to book a preliminary interview with the doctor or with other authorised personnel to remove any doubt or uncertainty about pathologies, countries of destination and any personal contraindications to vaccination or preventive medicine.

The cost of the service is variable depending on the number and type of vaccines.
 
Other services:

• Examinations for renewal of driving licenses (30€);
• Issuing permits for imports from non-EU countries of goods of health (cosmetics, medical devices).

The outpatient clinic is open to the public by appointment from Monday to Friday.

Please note that in order to plan a correct vaccination prophylaxis it is advisable to consult the service at least 4 weeks before a possible departure.

During the consultation, the recommended and, if necessary, mandatory vaccinations will be advised. In the event of vaccination, the following rates apply:

Fees:

• Yellow fever €40.50;
• Others (anti-hepatitis A, anti-hepatitis B, antitussive, anti-meningococcal, anti-diphthorax, anti-cholera, anti-polio) 30€.
   

Payment must be made by PagoPa on the website of the Ministry of Health - Online Services at: https://polpor.salute.gov.it/pol-ui-public/#/

On-the-spot payments by cash or debit cards are not accepted.

Please do not pay for vaccinations without prior confirmation from the Air Health staff.

To access the clinic, please go to the "Crew and Customs Gate" entrance on the Arrivals level and use the stairs to the mezzanine level. 

Enclosures: medical history form and consent to data processing (to be completed and brought on the day of the appointment), together with copies of identification documents and a certificate showing vaccination history.
